Sony Style store – Barcelona. Retail environment.
In collaboration with our in-house industrial designer and long-time partner-in-crime James Milne, plus Softroom, we launched our first European store in Barcelona.
Designed for the long, low architectural footprint of the Barcelona space, the store concept used horizontal flow to create layered levels of messaging throughout the customer journey. Graphic panels became both communicative and functional – integrating concealed storage and air conditioning within a seamless architectural system.
The environment balanced cosmopolitan confidence with simplicity. Light and dark elements worked in dialogue, creating subtlety and impact in equal measure. Feminine softness met technical precision through smooth surfaces contrasted with tactile textures.
Open yet calm, the space was conceived as adaptable and flexible – capable of evolving with product launches and seasonal narratives. Multifaceted in expression, the store embodied Sony Style as a refined, immersive retail experience.
