Moosehead – beer branding and packaging. #01

Located in Saint John, New Brunswick, Moosehead Breweries is the last major brewery in Canada owned by Canadians. The Oland family’s passion for beer has helped them steer Moosehead through devastating fires, Prohibition, the Great Depression, two world wars, obstructive trade barriers, and bruising competition from breweries 100 times its size.

Reimagining a classic symbol of Canada, my Moosehead brand and labeling is a shift change for stand-out, definition, and further growth in a market of homogeneity. My brand mark evokes the geography, grit, and commitment that grew the business over the past 151 years.

This is a passion project, and after living in Vancouver myself, I still choose to drink Moosehead whether I’m in Yaletown or Covent Garden. It is in no way connected to, or sanctioned by Moosehead Breweries.
